Pull Up A Chair

Pull Up A Chair

Ephesians 2:5-7

even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ  (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together,

and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of

His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. NKJV

And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places,

[because we are] in Christ Jesus, AMP

He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection

and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! TPT

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him

in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, NIV

Building your faith requires you to continually think, dwell, and meditate upon the right things. It requires you to keep looking at who you are in Christ. You have to keep seeing yourself the way God sees you. The more you see this view the stronger you will be and you will do the works God has designed you to do. This also causes you to become closer to God as well.

Scripture states that God, when we accepted His Son, gave us a place and a position with Him. He sees us sitting with Christ, His Son. However, by not sitting in the seat God gave us, we sit in a chair really designed by the enemy. The enemy gets us looking from a different view. Many Christians sit in a tiny chair, a smaller, uncomfortable chair which doesn't fit who they are. It may be because of fear, insecurities, or feeling inadequate in your relationship with God. You may feel you are not worthy or you don't deserve what God has said as He lavishly gives us all things. God says sit here with My Son, Jesus and see yourself seated with me. But because you see yourself with your own eyes and not from God’s, you feel unworthy and you still live from a place you really were when you were a sinner. You still hold your sins against yourself and think God still is as well, even though you repented sometime back, you still feel you do not measure up.

You must move to the right chair, you need to sit in the place and position God gave you and see yourself in this light. You are still looking at yourself and measuring yourself to God through your own eyes. It is time you look at what God says, and see yourself the way He sees you. Because of His Son, Jesus, God sees you as worthy and deserving of all that He has. He sees you as an overcomer. He sees you as capable and powerful. He sees you as able to lay hands on the sick and see them recover, and He sees you as someone who can fully represent His life. God sees you as someone He loves the same as His own son. He sees you as His own, calling you a child of God. He sees you as a son or daughter who should be seated right in the place and position He gave you. So take your proper seat and see the view from there, because this is the view God has of you. He sees you right there next to Jesus. As you do this you will find your faith growing from this seat.

Eph 2:10

10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
