Don't Wait, Create

Don't Wait, Create

(Faith Builders)

Be Proactive.  When? NOW!!!

Proactive:   creating or controlling a situation by causing something to happen rather than responding to it after it has happened, taking action by causing change and not just reacting to change when it happens, acting in anticipation of future problems, needs, or changes

Heb 11:1

NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].  AMP

Heb 11:1

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. TLB

Over the past couple of weeks I have posted short articles to encourage everyone in their faith. These articles are meant to engage you in thinking and acting on your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. However, one of the greatest points many miss is the “when”. Some may say, “I have never done the things you have posted before”. So start NOW! Some may say, “I don't know if I believe that way”. So what do you have to lose then? Start NOW! Being proactive builds our faith. Read the definition posted at the beginning again. Many wait to see what is going to happen and then wonder why that happened. Don’t wait, Create. Start engaging your faith Now.

Heb 11:6

6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. NLT.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. AMP

6 No one can please God without faith. GW

Scriptures tell us without faith we cannot please God. So here is a question, when can you be pleasing to God? Right Now. Being proactive means you are the agent of change in your life. Start by speaking what you believe that is in line with what God’s Word states. Start by thanking Him for the things he has already done and then thank Him for the things you are believing Him to do. Begin to praise Him for His miraculous provision He has provided, and then praise Him for the provision you believe He will bring. This praise is not based on what you see but what you know He is capable of doing.

Start to pray for others based on what good things you want to see happen in their lives. Being proactive in these things keeps our faith growing. Start praying for your needs as if God has already answered and see how this encourages your heart and mind. Remember, this is what pleases God.

Proactive means you are proclaiming and acting on situations to change before they actually do.  All through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, God got those, He used, to speak and act on what He told them was going to happen before anything actually happened.

Now I personally think the best part in all that I am stating here is God knows right where you are in with your faith and He believes He can use you right where you are  and grow a dynamic life in you with Him. He causes the growth. You just have to apply yourself. I would encourage you to start with just baby steps and let Him work with you. He is right there saying “come on, just believe Me.” The God of the whole universe has faith in you so start acting on your faith in Him NOW.

 Eph 2:10

10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
